Exciting Announcement! Division Director Academy Opens Applications for its 3rd Cohort.

We’re delighted to declare that applications are now being accepted for the 3rd Cohort of the Division Director Academy. This year’s academy offers an enriched experience with two virtual components complemented by a day and a half of in-person sessions and breakouts. Participants can anticipate personalized and group DISC assessments, alongside access to a dedicated website brimming with valuable resources.

The program is meticulously designed to equip Division Directors with indispensable resources, information, networking opportunities, and tools to adeptly lead and manage all aspects of division activities. Our distinguished faculty comprises chairs representing a diverse array of programs in terms of size, structure, location, and more. Attendees will emerge from this program equipped with the insights and skills necessary to foster greater collaboration and success with department chairs, fellow division directors, and faculty members, thereby enriching the overall success of their departments.

Exciting topics on the agenda include Finance, Recruitment & Retention, Division Director Job Duties, Navigating Difficult Conversations, Wellness, and Leadership Styles. The in-person segment of the program is scheduled for November 8th (1-5 pm CT) and 9th, 2024 (9 am-5 pm CT) at a hotel near Chicago O’Hare Airport.

Upon acceptance, the registration fee is $2500. Please note that this fee does not cover hotel accommodation and travel expenses.

Space is limited, and we anticipate accepting 40 applications.

October 8, 2024: 9:30 am – 11 am EST
January 31, 2025: 11 am – 12:30 pm EST

Financial Waiver

Do you require financial assistance to attend this meeting? Attendees seeking financial assistance must email AMSPDC with the following waiver and attestation information after submitting application.

Upon approval, AMSPDC will provide a discount code for registration only. (Please note waiver does not cover hotel accommodation and travel expenses.)
