A program for New Chairs is held every two years, in conjunction with the annual AMSPDC meeting. A member of AMSPDC is asked to head a committee of three or four and they develop an outline of what is to be presented and what is thought to be most helpful and informative for new members when assuming the role of pediatric department Chair. Dr. Patricia Emmanuel is the current committee chair.
